Vakt wird unter der Elastic License 2.0 (ELv2) veröffentlicht. Der Quellcode ist öffentlich einsehbar und auditierbar. Self-Hosting für den eigenen Betrieb ist kostenlos und uneingeschränkt erlaubt.
